We operate the Mission Del Rey among the Tarahumara Indians, a proud people that have endured many hardships. They lead very rough and often difficult lives teetering between their traditional lifestyle and assimilation into the Mexican culture. Unfortunately, they are somewhat stuck between the two and often live hand to mouth. Hunger and exposure are too well known among the people. By being able to continue their traditional crafts, we help them preserve their rich culture and their dignity as they work to provide for their families.

Rawhide Lamp Shades

Rawhide lamp shades have been our main product line for rustic lighting and western lamps for the last three years. The most popular has always been the southest style shade in light rawhide. About a year ago we introduced rawhide lamp shades in natural dark rawhide which took off in popularity for wrought iron lamps and wooden table lamps.

Now, this year we have introduced dyed rawhide lamp shades in red, green and brown rawhide. Dyed rawhide makes country lamp shades with a warm glow and look great in cabins and log homes. If you desire a rustic style, you can achieve it with rawhide lampshades even with out changing your lamps.
