Beautiful hand-crafted Indian baskets are a creative way that I enjoy using to decorate my home in a Southwestern style. Each hand woven basket has its own unique style or pattern used by the Navajo, Pueblo, Apache and Tarahumara tribes. In previous years, the women of Native American tribes were given the task of basket making and were taught as a child by their mother. They made baskets for necessity to assist in their daily lives and economical survival. Now they continue to make baskets to aid in their daily living, but also to allow them an income. I have found that some of the vibrant colors used in the Indian baskets bring any place in your home to life. These baskets have been apart of the Native American culture for many years.
