Zapotec Fish Tapestry Wall Hanging

I love the unique which means I am thrilled about my Zapotec Tapestry.  It has an intricate one of a kind hand woven fish pattern.  Being a Believer,  I know that the fish symbol holds a significant meaning to Christians.  I really like to surround myself with things that speak to my heart and make me feel happy.

I was introduced to the fascinating weavings of the Zapotec Indians many years ago.  A beautiful thing about the country of Mexico, is the colors one sees there, in the culture and crafts.  Things that delight the senses.  These lovely Zapotec wall hangings have a mixture of sometimes odd and bright colors that draw instant attention and admiration.  Once you’ve seen one of the wall hangings made by the Zapotec Indians, you’ll always be able to recognize their work.

These Zapotec tapestries look amazing with a southwest decorating theme. It seems like mixing many bright colors together, makes my home more inviting and livelier.  It’s a happy place to be!  These tapestries can be placed in any room of your home where you want to add color and charm.  I have used mine on the wall as well as on my coffee table.  A friend of mine made bed pillows using three Zapotec tapestries that shared matching color schemes.  With the many stunning color choices available and different pattern designs, the choice is often hard to make if you intend on purchasing just one!
