I love the unique which means I am thrilled about my Zapotec Tapestry. It has an intricate one of a kind hand woven fish pattern. Being a Believer, I know that the fish symbol holds a significant meaning to Christians. I really like to surround myself with things that speak to my heart and make me feel happy.
I was introduced to the fascinating weavings of the Zapotec Indians many years ago. A beautiful thing about the country of Mexico, is the colors one sees there, in the culture and crafts. Things that delight the senses. These lovely Zapotec wall hangings have a mixture of sometimes odd and bright colors that draw instant attention and admiration.
