How To Enhance Your Southwestern Bathroom

With a few creative ideas, you will learn how to enhance your southwestern bathroom for everyone to enjoy. The great part about the southwest is its bold & vibrant colors. I love being able to use a neutral color for the foundation of all my home decorating needs. One unique item to use in a bathroom is a Kiva or wooden ladder. You can find them in different sizes. Depending on the height of your bathroom, you will want to go with a 4′ or 3′ ladder. The ladder is an excellent way to hang your bath towels.

You can hang old horseshoes on each end of your hand towel holder. Be sure to find rustic hinges and knobs to really give your bathroom a southwestern look. If you have enough space by the sink, you may like to have a beautiful woven Native American style basket to hold folded wash cloths, travel size shampoo and conditioner, lotion and soap for your guest to feel right at home.

Remember to accent with the colors of the southwest with towels, wash cloths and shower curtains. You may also find rustic items to place around as wall decor to really tie everything together. Do not forget the rustic wooden ladder is an excellent choice for your southwestern bathroom.  Enjoy being creative and finding unique items to enhance your southwest decor.
